Day 2

Homework is 1-9 to 1-14.  

• 1-9 Make sure you justify you statements.  ex.  D is older because his point is farther over on the age axis.
• 1-10 Adding negatives example -1+-2=-3.  Subtracting negatives -1–3=2.  See math notes on p. 15 for more info.
• 1-11 See math notes on p. 5.  There are 3 possible rectangles.  Use graph paper if you have some.
• See hotmath.com if you don’t know how to find average.
